Cruise

"Anything that gets my family out in the woods is one of our top choices for spring travel.  Camping, hiking, kayaking, and paddle-boarding in the North Georgia mountains are all great ways to get back to nature and spend quality time with teens. Since there is poor cell reception in the woods, we generally get to connect with them a lot easier than we do at home where they are attached at the hip to their cell phones!" - Diane Hoffmaster, Turning the Clock Back

"A classic vacation that will please both adults and children this spring break is Niagara Falls.  The Canadian side does require a passport for those traveling from the U.S.  It boasts amazing falls' views, a wide variety of very reasonable hotels, and proximity to all the amazing Niagara Falls experiences.  Off season is a great time to visit to score great hotel rates and experience the wonder of the falls without the crowds!" - Lindsey Wetzel Johnston, Crumbs in the Couch

 
Beach
"Why we love St. Simon's Island: It’s a community, not just a vacation destination. We love to ride bikes on the hard packed sand beach, play corn hole while waiting for our chicken swiss at Brogens, enjoy the best fried shrimp anywhere at Crab Trap, and hang out on the St. Simon’s Island Pier crabbing or seeing what the fisherman bring in. I wish I was going back to Okinawa, Japan. I miss the cherty blossoms, I want to walk the shopping diustricts! My toes ache for the sand. I wish I was taking my husband and son to Shuri Castle. Its beautiful this time of year.

I can't wait for out spring trip down to Bush Gardens with my husband and step children. I know it's untraditional and some women may call it a no-no but we will be vacationing with my husbands ex-wife's family for the weekend. No drama here...we all love the kids!!

My spring travel plans are really a dream, not reality at this point. It has been my dream to go to Alaska and go deep sea fishing, see the mountain wonders, stay at cozy little cabins along the way, ride the train and see all the wondrous scenery. In fact, when I used to work graveyard shift, me and the other technician would plan out our fantasy fishing trip to Alaska during the quiet nights. We had our agenda all mapped and planned out, from the city we would fly into, what motels we would stay at, where to catch the train to travel to the area where we would rent a boat to go deep sea fishing. It's a pipe dream but I sure would like to get up to Alaska someday and do some of those things.

Normally, we go on cruises, but this year- I am SERIOUSLY contemplating going to a dude ranch! It includes everything I love- Horse back riding, quiet time reading, and hiking. The holy grail of vacations! And it wouldn't be as hot as summertime!

My Spring travel plans include visiting the boardwalk at the Jersey shore! Its not populated with tourists, not too hot and the sea glass hunting is outstanding! My son loves to ride his bike on the boards and then take a stroll on the shoreline with me.

We never get to travel but this summer we r lucky enough to make our first trip to the ocean! These would be extremely helpful!!!
