I loved going back to school because I always got a brand new pack of Crayola Crayons. The smell of crayons and a new color book still make me nostalgic.

My mom used to mail brownies to me--my college roommate's mom used to send her boxes of brownies--of course we'd share with our roomies... The other college essentials were peanut butter (eaten with apple slices or crackers) and coffee for those late-night study sessions
My daughter in second grade. Went to put her on the bus and she would't budge! I had to drive her to school that day but from then on she was fine :)
My favorite back to school memory is of meeting all the new kids and scoping out the underdogs and making friends with them.
