If you could help build a better community with just one change, what would you do? Knowing that not everyone has money to support the many causes they care about, Tom’s of Maine has created the 50 States for Good program!

As part of this year’s campaign, they’re inviting anyone to share their #OneWayToHelp their community for a chance to select a local nonprofit to receive funding. This year, Tom’s of Maine is awarding more funding than ever – more than $1 million in total – with $20,000 going to a nonprofit organization in every state and Washington D.C.!

I live in Abilene KS and last summer our historical theater (it was an old restored church from the late 1800s) was struck by lightning and they didn't know so it smoldered and then basically went up in flames that night. They have had a hard time getting money to rebuild it and I know this money would help so much. They did so much with the community bringing in theater programs for all ages, summer programs for the kids, free summer movies for the kids. It was a shame that such a beautiful building was/is gone but it is also a community place that is just a void right now.

I would offer child sitting for those in need. I know how hard it is to go to the doctor, shop or have a moment away when you can't afford it. I think this is something a lot of parents would appreciate.
