Thank goodness for Ruth Graves Wakefield! Back in the 1930's she created the original chocolate chip cookie at her Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts.
Legend has it that she was intending to bake standard chocolate cookies for her guests, but when she ran out of baker's chocolate - she swapped some broken-up pieces of semi-sweet chocolate bark into the mixture and was delighted to find out they didn't melt into the dough!

Chocolate chip cookies, in general, but you can put them in so many things like pie, bars, cakes..and ummm, plain, right out of the bag..........My daughter is the chocolate chip cookie maker in our house and she always sets some plain chips aside for me to snack on as she makes the cookies, lol.

Of course chocolate chip cookies are number one, but I also like granola bars and oatmeal cookies (no raisins) and frozen yogurt soft serve all with chocolate chips.
Being an unabashed chocoholic,i'd say a few of my faves are peanut butter chocolate chip cookies,(kentucky) Derby pie,chocolate chip banana bread,& my aunt's microwave fudge recipe,to name just a few! :-)
