We know how hard women can be on themselves. This can be even more true for Moms.

Several notable ad campaigns depicted the pressure women put on themselves in the last few weeks:

Watching my oldest going into her junior year in college, my middle daughter getting ready to go to college and my youngest talking about where he wants to go to college and all the plans that they have, when neither my husband and I went to college! It's amazing to watch these brilliant children become these amazing adults!

Watching my children push through therapies and do the things that others have said they would not do makes me proud of them. They do the things that they want to do and regardless of the obstacles continue to smile and enjoy life.

As a mom of teenagers now, I am stunned by how much my mom gave and still gives to us. She finished her BA with 5 kids tagging along and her MA with two still very young. She let us grow up to be strong, thoughtful, and always growing. No matter what, my momma is still my hero.

One of my proudest and most beautiful mom moments was when my three-year-old son (who has had speech issues) told me that he loved me and missed me! I felt so loved and happy.

Very proud of the way my son and only child bravely fought AML, never complaining and always enjoying what time he had left with friends and family.

My proudest Mom moment was right after I married my husband and his son wanted to confirm with me that I was his step-mom now

I'm proud of both of my children who are both working on getting their master degrees. One in education and the other in social work. I didn't go to college after graduating high school because I knew that it wasn't for me but to watch both children achieve so much has made me very proud. One is already working in the school system as a para educator and junior varsity basketball coach and the other child doesn't work yet and needs a social worker license before she can even be consider for a job in social work. I feel truly blessed and grateful.

My grandma was My Mom and she was the best. She taught me to be a strong but loving person which I in turn taught my 5 children. No matter what life throws at you, keep your head up and continue to strive were her words and I still live with them.

My two children are adopted. Their Birhtmothers have a very special place in my heart. I think of them and all they have done for me and my family on Mothers Day. I also have beautiful memories of my own precious Mother and love doing somthing special for her.

My favorite Mom "moment" when I was a child.....It was plant sale day at school and my sister had purchased a plant for mother for Mother's day. As we got off the bus, my sister tripped and the plant fell to the ground The plant came out of the pot and the dirt scattered. Our Mom ran over and scooped it all back into the pot while exclaiming "I'm not looking, I'm not looking" It was funny
