We all love to indulge in snacks every now and again. According to our recent survey, so do our children! How do people feel about snack foods and what kind of snacks are they providing their families? We were curious to hear more about SheSpeaks members' thoughts on this topic. We conducted a study recently and below are some of the key findings.
Does this match how you feel about snacks? Comment below and let us know!
My kids love to snack but as the mom, I provide the snack. So I can choose to give them a candy bar( or some other unhealthy food) or some fruit, goldfish or yogurt. It's up to me what to have in the house that they hvae access to, so we don't keep candy around.
My kids aren't picky eaters and they rather have healthy snacks over un-healthy. I guess I just lucked out!
I feed my children packaged snacks, but I do try to balance it with healthier snacks. I limit candy and sweets.
I agree!
totally agree
I agree also kids snacks have gotten out of hand and it can be hard to rein them in.
I'm not surprised.
I also agree, I am raising two of my grandchildren which eat the wrong snacks. It is so much easier as I have gotten older and had to raise my children and so many more peoples kids. Plain laziness so guilty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I definitely feel guilty at times for the snacks my child eats. But the thing is she doesn't like a ton of foods- so I've learned to only keep a variety of healthy things in the house and have no unhealthy choices, that way she gets to pick what it is she wants, but there aren't any choices I feel guilty about. I've also leaned that there are plenty of healthy snacks that are super yummy to her! Yogurt is one of her faves, as well as hummus and pita bread and carrots! This has also made an impact on how I eat, which is very exciting!
I agree with this and have done it myself . It's hard for mom's to say No
I would agree on these!
