I am most thankful for my wonderful husband and two great cats. Then I am more than thankful that I have a job. It was a long time coming!

I am thankful I have my mom and my kids with me and that my doggy rex made it through his liver biopsy and is still with me. He is like one of my kids and I tell him every day I need him to help me take care of the kids.

In this current racial climate I am thankful that my children are healthy and safe, that we have tolerance and understanding in my home. I am thankful that we are all together and at peace. I am thankful that my aneurysm has been coiled and I am able to be here with my children and that we will celebrate another great year together! We are a cohesive family who understands and appreciates one another. Love my family so much.

I'm thankful for every moment of my life; the good, the bad, the ugly. Having an opportunity to make something positive out of everyday is the greatest blessing. Each day starts as a blank canvas, every breath is a reminder of that. For that I'm deeply thankful.

One of my favorite traditions at Thanksgiving are having our big family meal together. There are over 20 that gather together to eat, play games, watch Christmas movies and just enjoy each other's company. As each year goes by I'm just so Thankful for my ever expanding family, I've had my three oldest children get married this year and I've been blessed to have two grand-babies added to my life. I'm also very thankful that despite all the struggles in life, I will always have my family by me, and nothing can take that away.

I have so much to be thankful for and count my blessings everyday that I have a family, place to live and food to eat! I wish I could give back to those who have helped me in the past, but maybe one day I'll be able to!

I am thankful for having the Lord in my life and knowing He died for me to have salvation. I am blessed to have lived through my cancer surgery and am doing well. I am blessed to have my husband and son and wonderful caring friends.

We are blessed to be living in a better home. But with it comes all of the expense of moving and renovating. We've had a few major disasters and health issues come up as well. Even with all the new financial burdens we have picked up, I wouldn't trade my life for anything! I'm thankful for a wonderful husband! I'm also blessed with a lot of new neighbors that have already become friends!

@Jennyfr how wonderful! Years ago when I was travelling between countries I always looked so forward to coming home for Thanksgiving; I would go to the bank and get out a stack of $20s and walk around town to give one to each homeless person I could find (later it dawned on me to change to singles). This year everyone in my family is making and bringing a Thanksgiving banner to our dinner - should be lots of fun!
