Who Should Play the Lead in Fifty Shades of Grey?

The role of a lifetime? or career poison? Who knows what lies ahead for the actor who lands the movie role of the kinky billionaire in the screen adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling trilogy which has sold 70 million copies worldwide.

Universal Pictures announced that Charlie Hunnam, the actor who had originally been set to play the lead, was dropping out of the adult romance and would not be taking on the role. 

So now that the search is back on, what actor do you think would make the ideal Christian Grey?

They're going to need some hungry young guy who's not risk averse to play this. This is the type of subject material that can either come off as wonderfully subversive (Secretary) or Razzie bait (Showgirls). Joseph Morgan would be my personal pick, but all of the guys on the list there (including him) have enough to lose to be justifiably wary of a project like this. Maybe Alex Pettyfer?

If only Charlie Hunnam weren't so busy that he could have kept the role as his own, I would have loved seeing him in this film. But, since he isn't, i'll support Jamie Dornan, whom I heard has been chosen.
