My beauty secret is a good facial scrub. I make mine. Half lemon with a hint of honey and scrub it onto my face.. Also a good moisturizer.
I guess my beauty secret, really just tips is less is more. We all love makeup and how it makes us look and feel but when you wear to much or just cake it on,it doesn't really look good so try to use as little as possible and it's also so important to make sure you use the right shades for your skin. I use a moisturizer with added SPF all year round because it's important to protect your skin even if it's not summer. My eyes are brown and not light at all,so i like to use a very light shadow color under my water line to help make my eyes look brighter and more open. With foundation i always use a face primer,it makes my makeup last longer and look great all day and with eye shadows, especially if they are powder based i always use a primer,It help enhance the color and really makes it pop.
Drink a lot of water. Always moisturize. Free your mind from negative thoughts. Be grateful!
Never go to bed with make-up on. Use a good cleanser. Moisturize. Sunscreen is a must!!
I use African black soap to wash my face! this stuff is absolutely amazing. I got mine off of etsy.com. I started out by using this stuff to wash my face twice a week and used it more as my face got used to it. Black soap helps dry out your existing pimples and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed. It gives my face a nice glow and it evens out your skin tone rather well. When you first use it you'll get a slight burning sensation, but after using it several times I didn't get that feeling at all. The smell isn't the greatest and it takes some getting used to, but the benefits are amazing. The stuff I ordered off etsy comes with all natural Shea butter that works great as a makeup primer. You can use black soap to wash your hair as well (I know that sounds weird) It makes your hair shiny and smooth. If you're looking for a face cleanser I'd definitely look into black soap!
I keep it simple, cover up, eyeliner a small bit of light blush and some mild lipstick. Beauty is natural :)
Use baby wipes! They work for everything, and are great for your skin!
Put eyeliner gel on your brush and hold the bristles parallel to your lid. Then take baby swipes from inner lid forwards outer lid. Beginning thin then increasing to a thicker line.
For natural-looking make up results, apply glow products on the apples of your cheeks, the bridge of your nose, your hairline, and chin.
*i meant use a tshirt to dry hair....not a towel to stay frizz free. ha.
Use a towel to dry off hair after showering. Helps to keep you frizz free.
Apply makeup lightly! Don't overdue it!
My grandmother told me years ago that every time I prepare rice to make a meal I should first rinse it with water and then saved that rice water to wash my face, she said my facial beauty would Last longer. My mom did, all of my aunts too and I'm in the process to keep my beauty on forever :)
My beauty secret is to use eye shadow to fill in brows. I find that using a pencil looks to fake, but a softer shadow (in a matching shade) looks more realistic.
Always use primers before cosmetics....face, eye and lip primers are all necessary for a beautiful smooth application.
