My favorite park as a child was Kings Island. My family would go there every year and spend time together. We hardly spend time together anymore so I cherish those memories. We would stay at a hotel and then go to the park for the whole day.

I live in Houston, Texas and there are some truly wonderful parks to choose from: Memorial, Bush, Hermann, Discovery Green (not including the small local parks) . I'm thankful I was able to visit all of these and I have to say, they are pretty amazing. Discovery Green is my most treasured, mostly because it has a lot to offer the community. The park host many concerts and events during the summer; it also has a near by café for very casual dining and a tiny library for the "not so out-doorsy" person. Oh! And I almost forgot to mention the eccentric water park and playground for the little ones. This park is located smack dab in the center of downtown Houston, what's not to love?

Fireman's Park in Madison Indiana along the banks of the Ohio River. I remember many summers spent in that park. Every July 4th, we go there to watch Hydroplane races, then listen to music and then watch the fireworks shot from a barge on the river.

Franklin Park in Virginia is our favorite park. We have been going there since my kids were young. So many memories spring up whenever we go there.

Wow I haven't been out and about in a minute. Can't wait to take my baby to the park! My last memorable park moment was about a year or two ago lol sad to say. Got a chance to feed the fish and just relax and take in a beautiful scenery. Also I enjoyed a water gun fight with friends lol. It's great to find time to just relax and forget your worries!

How I love Forest Park! Almost as big as Central Park in NYC! There are so many wonderful activities at Forest Park! Boat rides on the lake, parties on the dock, golf or bicycling. You can visit the Art Museum (or go sledding on Art Hill) watch the fireworks display on the 4th or watch the Great Balloon Race in September. Visit the Zoo, Climatron or Science Center! Near fabulous Washington University, near some great restaurants and other fun activities ! Forest Park is so much fun!

Lot's of amazing memories! My fave would be when we would take the Bob-Lo Boat to Bob-Lo Island and spend the entire day there. It closed a long time ago, but I still remember all of the rides. =]

I just moved to Chicago and they have so many parks, they are all beautiful especially in spring and summer. The most park that I am familiar with would be grant and millennium park.

We love to go to Knott's Berry Farm in Southern California. I have memories of that park as a young child, back when it was free to get in and you just paid for the rides. It's very nostalgic still, so we try to get back to visit every year.
