I don't really have a favorite park we have moved around so much in the last few years. My kids are at ages were they really like parks so when we are on a long drive we try to stop in every town and play for 20 minutes if we have time. They love watching the GPS to see the green that indicates a park!

Robbers Cave State Park and Belle Starr Lodge in Willburton Ok! I grew up in Oklahoma all my life and then moved to Texas when I turned 23 but, going to Robbers Cave State Parke and Belle Starr Lodge was so wonderful and had the most memories there. We went every summer with family. We went fishing, hiking, rock climbing/reppelling and camping! Loved it!

My kids and I loved Acadia National Park, and it is always fun bringing them somewhere new.

My favorite; the first time that I took my daughter to an accessible playground/park. I was so happy to see the delight on her face, being able to enjoy the equipment just like her cousins, who don't use a wheelchair. We need so many more inclusive playgrounds!

My favorite park is the Buttonwood Park in New Bedford MA. It's in need of an update to it's animal enclosures. It's such a beautiful place and so many kids go there. It's their one place to hang out and be kids in the city.

Doughout State Park in Virginia. My husband and I went there before we got married. A bear was outside our tent and are our leftover beans! But the weekend was great!

Valley Green is a hidden jem in the heart of Philadelphia, PA. We use to hike there as children with my father so many Sunday afternoon of my childhood were spent here, feeding ducks and eating hot dogs and drinking hot chocolate after a hike.

I am 49 and can still remember with fondness our little local park in Eaton, Indiana. There were 6 of us and we were all within a year apart, so we all played in that park, it was the center of our world all summer long.

Holiday World... was Santa Claus Land as a child growing up but they decided to add other holidays. It's located in lovely small town usa - Santa Claus, IN. It's where people send their letters to santa to have the official post mark. It's a great park with world renowned roller coasters, water parks, clean, and just great people. The owner of the park greets everyone at the entrance every day. How can you beat that. She's 80 something years old. Check it out if you haven't!

Central Park in Ashland, KY holds a warm spot in my heart! I played there as a child on the playground and my family and I held picnics and family reunions there. Our school system takes the students there for exercise and fun. Now I exercise there and the park hosts a wonderful light show around Christmas. It means so much to me and the city of Ashland, KY!
