The funniest ---OMG!!.......is when my son. At the age of 4. Emptied my purse in a restaurant. And started to name each of my items in my purse. I was caught 'off-guard' when he grabbed my personal hygiene item. And ask loudly what is the name of this 'stick-looking thing was?? ? When I turned over. It was a tampon...OMG...funny!!

My 18 month old granddaughter's new word is PIG. Shopping one evening, she points to a heavy set woman and says, "PIG"

My youngest son tried to begin saying "I love you" at 18mos., but he could just say "Iyou" (eye-you). To this day, (13 years later) that's how our immediate family - and extended family - say or sign "I love you"... two letters: IU. It's almost like our secret (yet obvious) "code" of endearment!

One of the kids in daycare once told me that Mickey Mouse was not as entertaining as me telling them a story because my stories were real. I was reading them Hansel and Gretel by the Brothers Grimm.
