Today was the kick off to Right to read week at my daughters school. Everyone had to dress as there favorite Seuss character, my daughter dressed as Cindy- Lou, after getting her pigtails to stand sky high she turns to me and says mama! you know what we can do?! go to a store and buy me a gift so I can pretend it's Christmas.

I'm a parent of a special-needs child with learning disabilities, as a result my child has difficulty processing information, especially math, and she was feeling discouraged lately with all the work in class and homework, and I explained to her, leaning is NOT a race, it's a process and we all learn at different rates, using flowers as an example, I explained the flowers grow at different times, yet they contribute to creating a beautiful display or lovely garden and, now, she approaches her learning with patience and told me today, she received a 100 perfect score on her math test, I melted and gave her a hug to see he confidence blooming!! #Priceless

My son got registered for kindergarten and is so proud! The look on his face when I told him he was enrolled and ready for school was priceless and I couldn't help but smile :)
