Friendship Tea Ingredients 1/2 cup instant tea powder 1 cup sweetened lemonade powder 1 cup orange-flavored drink mix (e.g. Tang) 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves Directions 1.In a large bowl, combine instant tea, lemonade powder, orange drink mix, cinnamon and clove. Mix well and store in an airtight container. 2.To serve, Put 2 to 3 teaspoons of mix in a mug. Stir in 1 cup of boiling water. Adjust to taste. I like to make a large batch and give a small bag of the tea with a festive cup to my friends.

I'm adding my recipe for an easy bacon onion quiche! But another favorite recipe I have (featuring coffee, which is my favorite ingredients) is the easiest mocha fudge in the world. You just need 1 12 ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (this is important as other chips don't seem to work with this recipe), 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk, and 1 tablespoon instant coffee. Just heat the milk in a saucepan on the stove until bubbly, stirring constantly, stir in the coffee, and then slowly stir in the chips until melted. Pour mixture into an 8x8 pan lined with saran wrap and chill until set. Pop the fudge out, cut into squares, and you're done!

Hubby has been wanting a solid coffee grinder for the longest time. Nothing like the smell of those beans being ground and the oil seeping out. Yuuuum!

I love a holiday brunch! My favorite thing is to make something savory in the crock pot. I also like to make orange rolls. One year I hosted over 90 guests for Christmas brunch! It was epic! I was teaching university at the time so invited all of the international students over, b/c they couldnt' afford to go to their home countries for the holidays.

We like fruit pizza as a holiday dessert. The "crust" of the pizza is made with refrigerated sugar cookie dough. Then the "sauce" is a pkg of cool whip mixed with a pkg of cream cheese and a tsp of fresh lemon juice. The toppings we like are kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, bananas and mandarin oranges. This also makes a great summer BBQ dessert as well!

My favorite Christmas activity is to bake as many kinds of cookies as I have time for, usually I bake 12 different kinds of cookies, 4 kinds of sweet bread and 2 kinds of Biscotti. We hand deliver 4 dozen of homemade cookies to each sibling and their families and then whatever cookies are left over after Christmas, my children and I look forward to homemade hot chocolate with marshmallows and as many cookies as we can eat dipped in the hot chocolate while we talk about our favorite Christmas gifts and our families year ahead, and our plans for the new year. We all look forward to this special family time together.
