I put the ingredients for cinnamon french bread in the crockpot before I go to bed and when we get up it's already made. House guests who are early risers can help themselves and it is still warm and delicious for late risers too. It takes the stress out of everyone having to get up in time for breakfast. Just leave the table set before bed and everyone is happy. Same for the coffee make. I set it the nigh before so it's hot and ready at the crack of dawn for the early rising guests.

My 9 year old son likes Monkey Bread on Christmas morning, so I buy a box from the store. I would have liked to make it fresh this year, but things were just too busy. One year I made a breakfast casserole. It came out o.k. I like to keep things simple on Christmas morning as there is enough festivities going on, and I like to enjoy sitting on the floor opening gifts with my boys.

my favorite recipe is cinnamon sugar french toast. Take 4 eggs mix together with 2 tbs of milk, 2 tbs of vanilla, and 4 tbs of cinnamon. Take a piece of whole wheat bread, and dip. Then transfer to a hot skillet with melted butter, cook until brown then serve...yum always a hit. For an extra oomph use cinnamon butter on top when taking off the skillet.

love a nice cup of coffee after dinner, it settles my stomach and is a nice way to loose weight. It satisfies my sugar craving while being low calorie. Yum.
