Osbourne Reignites Aguilera Feud, Calling the Singer "Fat"

As an E! “Fashion Police” panelist it is Kelly Osbourne’s job to call out bad fashion when she sees it, but to knock someone’s weight on national TV is a whole other thing all together. Hollywood Life reports that Osbourne poked fun at Christina Aguilera’s recent weight gain while criticizing the ensemble she wore for the recent “Michael Forever” tribute concert.

As a woman who has never had children and publicly battled her weight in the past it seems ironic that the reality star would out the successful singer and mother for being “fat”.

When co-host George Kotsiopolous tried to soften Osbourne’s blow commenting that Aguilera may have put on a few pounds but she is “still probably a size 2/4” - Osbourne stood her ground stating, “Trust me, I’m a 2/4. That is not a 2/4.”

This isn’t the first time the star, who first became famous from starring in a hit reality show with rocker father Ozzy Osbourne and family, has picked on Aguilera’s weight and according to Osbourne she is simply dishing back the same jabs Aguilera has hit her with in the past. Osbourne says, “She called me fat for years. I was never that fat.”

One could ask whether the Osbourne/Aguilera feud has more to do with jealousy than anything else. After all, it seems hypocritical that Osbourne would poke fun at Aguilera’s weight when Osbourne has been outspoken in the past of her disdain for the pressures put on women to be thin. And add the fact that Aguilera has seen a lot of success - receiving multiple Grammys throughout her career while Osbourne’s foray as a musician quickly fizzled after her debut album “Shut-up” was widely panned by critics.

What do you think of Osbourne calling Aguilera “fat” on national TV?

Do you think Kelly Osbourne was out of line or is Christina Aguilera just getting back a little of what she has dished out in the past?

I think Kelly needs to stop being unkind and revengeful. She of all people after knowing what it is like to be called fat, should be more grownup and be a lady. That is not being a lady. And I doubt Kelly is a 2/4 anyway.
