Osbourne Reignites Aguilera Feud, Calling the Singer "Fat"

As an E! “Fashion Police” panelist it is Kelly Osbourne’s job to call out bad fashion when she sees it, but to knock someone’s weight on national TV is a whole other thing all together. Hollywood Life reports that Osbourne poked fun at Christina Aguilera’s recent weight gain while criticizing the ensemble she wore for the recent “Michael Forever” tribute concert.

As a woman who has never had children and publicly battled her weight in the past it seems ironic that the reality star would out the successful singer and mother for being “fat”.

When co-host George Kotsiopolous tried to soften Osbourne’s blow commenting that Aguilera may have put on a few pounds but she is “still probably a size 2/4” - Osbourne stood her ground stating, “Trust me, I’m a 2/4. That is not a 2/4.”

This isn’t the first time the star, who first became famous from starring in a hit reality show with rocker father Ozzy Osbourne and family, has picked on Aguilera’s weight and according to Osbourne she is simply dishing back the same jabs Aguilera has hit her with in the past. Osbourne says, “She called me fat for years. I was never that fat.”

One could ask whether the Osbourne/Aguilera feud has more to do with jealousy than anything else. After all, it seems hypocritical that Osbourne would poke fun at Aguilera’s weight when Osbourne has been outspoken in the past of her disdain for the pressures put on women to be thin. And add the fact that Aguilera has seen a lot of success - receiving multiple Grammys throughout her career while Osbourne’s foray as a musician quickly fizzled after her debut album “Shut-up” was widely panned by critics.

What do you think of Osbourne calling Aguilera “fat” on national TV?

Do you think Kelly Osbourne was out of line or is Christina Aguilera just getting back a little of what she has dished out in the past?

I say "good for Kelly" some of the comments that Christina made towards Kelly in the past were much meaner then what Kelly said. On the other hand - ladies let it go!!! Just because you are supposidly "famous" (what for I have no idea) don't use that "fame" to air your dirty laundry. One of you PLEASE take the high road and let it go. This name called makes both of you look trashy!!!

I think that Christina probably at one time bashed Kelley for being heavy and she thinks she is getting revenge on her, She really should give it a rest. Being around Joan Rivers has prpbably fueled the fire a little,

In the same program that kelly called christina fat Joan Rivers also made comments, why isn't anyone complaining about her comments? Is it just because Kelly was over weight once? Or because Joan is a comedian she can get away with it?

I think if Kelly was always recentful towards Christina for calling her "fat:.... she (Kelly) should be taking Christina's "now" figure as karma. In no way shape or form am I calling Christina "fat".... I'm glad she's her size now.... this is what women really look like. Dispite the past Kelly should have never bashed out to ANYONE and call them fat, as she was there once. Than again, I don't think Kelly was fat either..... she had a body of women from todays world. And not only that, although she has lost some weight she is definetly not a size 2/4, you can tell some thicknes on her still. I think they are both beautiful and should apologise to each other.

She is being a hypocrite! She has no room to talk. It's just making her look bad anyways because the things someone says about another tells more about their character than their trashing! I think it's jealousy. If she was confident in herself she wouldn't feel the need to harp on Christina for things she has struggle with herself. She needs to stop acting like a child.

Christina is one of the most beautiful women in the world... because of her extra pounds. She has never been more gorgeous!

Lots of superdivas with resources as steep as Christina's have babies (Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Britney, etc)... and maybe Christina is happy with her weight as it is - which is fine. But the point is - that continuing to dress as you did when you were 35 pounds lighter - calls for a reality check. The fake hair with the fake teeth with the fake boobs with the fake nails is adding up to waay too much. One look at that photo indicates that, from a FASHION perspective, Christina should be making better choices. 1980's Cher wore that look much better!

Kelly is wrong to zing Christina over a weight issue. Too much pressure is on women to look a certain way. Why should we all try to be a size 2? I am happy being a size 10. I am not about to starve myself to try and fit anyone's "perfect womanly image". As long as I am happy and healthy, who cares what size I am? Christina is beautiful no matter what size she is! Kelly should know better than to zing anyone for their weight, having struggled with her own "weight issues" in public.

I think Kelly calling Christina fat is ridiculous. I had given Kelly kudos for getting herself into shape, she looks amazing. But now her personality and her making fun of another artist who is not fat at all, is making her so ugly. Its horrible.

I think it's ridiculous for any one but particularly women to make any negative comments about another woman's weight regardless of any feud or dislike. Women in particular can be cruel to each other and when it comes to bashing weight, we should all stop. This is the type of behavior we are exemplifying for our future daughters and influences the way they see themselves and others when it comes to body image. We have enough problems with so many media sources adding to the unhealthy images that our young girls are exposed to that we don't need to add to it with our own immaturity and disrespect. They both are wrong for any comments made regarding this issue, no one has a right to comment on this issue critically.

So long as the comments Aguilera receives are the same as other celebrities receive if they looked like that (meaning, if the name was not Aquilera and was instead Aniston or Johannson) - then Kelly should be free to call it as she sees it. After all, the name of the show is "Fashion Police" and the whole point is to talk about infractions! Aguilera should not be especially-protected. Just so long as there is not unmerited or targeted meanness, and judging from the picture above, I'd say Kelly's comments seem fair.

I think Kelly needs to stop being unkind and revengeful. She of all people after knowing what it is like to be called fat, should be more grownup and be a lady. That is not being a lady. And I doubt Kelly is a 2/4 anyway.
