Where does the time go! Summer is over, school is back in session and the holidays are quickly approaching.

For many (if not all) of us, time passes way too quickly and we can easily put our jobs and our families ahead of our own health and peace of mind.

We're not saying ignore the kids, let your spouse fend for himself, or start slacking off at work. But, we want to make sure you're also making some time for yourself and that you don't leave it to January 2012. Fall is a perfect time to reboot, the weather is cooler for an outdoor jog or stroll and it’s easy to picture your renewed, fitter self in a few months, at a holiday party or family gathering.

So let's start today!

We all know it’s not just about diet. When was the last time you got a good night's sleep? Had a great workout? Or got a massage? Do you have an endless To-Do list that’s keeping you from taking a walk? Do you want to try yoga, boxing or P90X?

Well this week, SheSpeaks wants to help give you some tips and a friendly boost to Reboot Your Body. And, we're enlisting the SheSpeaks community to help with their collective wisdom and cheerful advice. So, we're asking each of you to share your tip, your words of wisdom, whatever you've learned along the way that has helped you and might help someone else!

Comment on this blog post below with your words of wisdom and enter to WIN one of the  items below that will help you Reboot Your Body Today! The contest starts Thursday, September 22nd and ends midnight EST Tuesday, September 27th.

Here’s a tip from a member of the SheSpeaks team:

If you’re looking to lose weight, the “My Fitness Pal” app on the iPhone is ridiculously helpful. You enter how much you weigh now, how much you want to weigh and it will tell you how many calories you can intake a day and track it. Enter everything you eat each day (as specific as the Cosi signature salad) and whatever exercise you do and it will tell you how many calories you ate, how many you have left (if any) and exactly how much you would weigh in 5 weeks if you keep doing what you’re doing. It’s a great way to know exactly where the weight is coming from and how to lose it!

And these are the prizes!

Zumba Fitness Total Body Transformation DVD System (over $50)

Gaiam Total Body Balance Ball Kit

Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer

YogaAccessories 1/4” Extra Thick Deluxe Yoga Mat

Good Luck!

I take the dog for a walk by myself. It's quiet and peaceful and I don't need to really think. I just enjoy nature and the fresh air. I also think eating breakfast is very important. It's usually a bowl of cereal and some fresh fruit. I like to eat a healthy cereal (something with fiber) because it helps me to stay full and then I don't get hungry until lunch time.

I've just started back on the path to reboot myself, after a broken foot this spring, I need to take off the extra pounds I put on. I've joined the Y and am trying to do cardio at least 3 times a week. And, have started back to pilates classes. I love them and have missed not only the exercise but the comraderie I get from the class. That is motivation to keep going.

I try to be moving any time I watch tv. It is so easy to do crunches during commercials or get to the gym at the perfect time to watch your favorite show on the treadmill. You will be so into the show you wont realize you are working and you save yourself from being a couch potato in front of the television.

As a working mom of 4 (3 of which are in sports!) I became extremely stressed out as I didn't have any ME time. Anyone who has been in my shoes knows that when Mom is shutting down the whole house suffers. For me, Fall means the holiday season is fast approaching so I better make some changes...and fast! I forced myself to put my husband in charge a couple of nights a week, lock the bathroom door, light some candles, turn on some music (mostly to drown out the noise of the kids) and drink a a glass of wine in a hot bubble bath. For an added boost, try St. Ives clay mask to give your skin a lift. It's worked wonders for my well-being, and best of all...it's free!!

I've been trying to drink a full glass of water before sitting down for dinner. Not only does it help me hit my daily quota for water, it helps me feel more full and I tend to eat less :)

Massage is the most under-rated "alternative treatment" there is! Whenever I get a massage I leave feeling completely relaxed & re-energized...this is the best way I've found to really reduce stress (beyond the daily deep breathing, yoga, etc.). I just had a massage about a month ago and finally decided this is something I should be doing on a regular basis, so I've scheduled one for every other month!

Get a juicer and a drink a glass of fresh juice - the greener the better (i.e. apple, celery, wheatgrass, cucumber) - before breakfast. YouŽll feel refreshed, satisfied and cleansed.

You have to schedule some time every day. I like to have some time every morning to stretch and go for a walk/run. I feel invigorated and I feel like I get more done throughout the day.

I got in shape in quite the abnormal way. I had plenty of bad habits. Smoking, snacking, and no exercising. I figured one bad habit leads to another so my advice is go all or nothing. I quit smoking, took up working out and gave up sweets so I'd be working on too many habits to focus on just one. It makes it easier to accomplish a huge goal. It worked for me... I lost 70 lbs! I get my sweets satisfied with fruits and I'm totally okay with it!

I constantly change my workouts so I don't get bored. I love all sorts of activities, Zumba is definitely one of my favorite classes at the gym! If you're new to the gym, classes are a great way to get started. The instructors are always happy to answer any questions you have. I used to feel like people were watching what I was doing but I realized they're there for the same reason as me and they're probably just trying to figure things out like I am. Look forward to that YOU time. Look on daily deal sites for things like yoga, or anything you've ever wanted to try but have found a reason not to. When you're getting a great deal it's hard to pass up! Reward yourself! If you lose 10 pounds, buy a new shirt! It's been two weeks and you haven't touched ice cream? Indulge! But remember, it only tastes good once. It's just life and you've got to live it so you might as well have a happy and healthy one.

I completely revised my eating habits and my relationship with food. I use the diaries at myfitnesspal.com to count calories. In addition I cut out white flour, white sugar and processed foods I don't eat any artificial or "diet" foods..I also joined a gym and make sure I exercise at least 4 days a week for an hour or more. I've lost 30lbs, so far. Most importantly I feel healthier. keeping a food diary helped my face up to what I was eating and how bad many of my food choices are. It take being honest with yourself, but feeling better is s very much worth it.

I would encourage all the woman, with or withought children to take a brisk walk. in a park, by the beach or on a beautiful nature trail.Walking helps not only to get you in the best of shape but it also relieves you of all your stress, giving you an open mind. After you are done with your walk get home and pamper yourself with a great bath..I especially love Lush products, you get the best bath experiences with their soap, it is both beneficiery for aromatherpy as well as physical therepy. And if that doesn"t complete your day off of relaxation, try a nice hot cup of camille tea,to enjoy relaxation to it"s fullest,...With some Kenny G in the background of course...:)

Whenever I am on a health kick I make sure to drink lots of fiber like benefiber to make my digestive track working properly and workout atleast for 20 minutes 5 times a week. Doing these two things gives me a lot more energy
