I would love to know if anyone has found a way to defeat the baby alert system that goes off anytime a mommy tries to take some time to pamper herself and do crazy things like apply makeup, pluck eyebrows...take a bath? Anyone?

I have been a Pro MAkekeup Artist for M.A.C Cosmetics for 10 years & still with all teh new formulas & products out i still stick to a simple routine ... Night : cleanse my face with an oill bas cleanser (because nothing breaks down oil except oil :) ..) after i do that i moisturize my skin with Ponds blue cap creme ..(the best for 30 yrs ) every 2 to 3 day i will exfoliate with a mild (Murad ) cleanser... Am: i simply wash my face in teh shower & I DO NOT moisturize because I have oily skin ..however i do protect my skin with M.A.C spf 50..

I am 31 and have have problem skin since adolescence, varying in degree from cystic acne to more "normal" type of breakouts. I am diligent about skincare and have tried numerous products. I have used a three-step product called Acne Free for years with unreliable results. I have recently switched to a Murad Clarifying Cleanser (use twice daily) with biweekly Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser. I always use Cetaphil lotion over top. So far, the jury is out on this new routine. My cleansing/moisturing routine typically takes about 10 minutes both morning and evening.

I am 51 and wash my face in the shower with everything else. No lotion, no makeup (unless I have a presentation for my work) no special soap or cleansers. I don't bake in the sun. I havn't looked my age since my 20's (unless I don't color my hair). I am complimented on my skin and asked my "secret" all the time. I guess I am just lucky.

My routine is quick and easy. It only takes about 5 minutes twice a day. In the morning, I wash, moisturize, apply sunscreen, apply some mineral foundation. At night, I was and apply night cream. I found that my face has shown improvement just by switching to a mineral makeup so my routine time was cut in half.

I wish they had one do-it-all product! I have bought and used so many different products but I feel they dont work. I am 35 and still dealing with acne on top of fine lines and seeing loss of elasticity as well. I have used so many cleansers, neutrogena, loreal, biore, etc. I have not found a great cleanser. I use moisturizer, but its hard to find one that doesnt make my face feel like an oil slick 15 minutes after I use it. I notice that all the ones with SPF are thick and just lay on my skin. Its gross. I use the Garnier eye roller in the morning and 100% Pure Eye Cream, and mineral foundation- cant use liquid because I feel like my face is melting off. Still, my makeup slides off my face at about 12-1PM every day. I also feel like my skin is dull and needs a pick me up! I want to look healthy! I am very fair and bronzers make me look orange. I just want something thats easy and know will work!

Growing up I had excellent skin. And up until about a year ago it stayed that way. Now I am noticing lines and spots that weren't always there... my skin doens't seem as tight as it used to be... and I've started to get blackheads and blemishes when my face has always been clear! So I have been trying different thing... I tried Oil of Olay first without much of a difference, i've tried cheap things such as neutrogena blackhead scrub and some avon pads. Now I am currently trying a skin system from Mary Kay. It includes a face wash then scrub, rejuvenator and face lotion. And that also doens't seem to be making a difference. Please help!

My skin care is very important to me. My skin care routine typically takes me about 15 minutes during the morning and about the same at night. I am very pleased with my progress and results. I am currently using 5 products which include Ponds cold cream, Olay Regenerist daily serum, Olay Prox wrinkle smoothing cream and Makari night treatment cream. Moisturizing, and hydrating substance is very relevant in the products that I choose.

My routine takes about 10 minutes twice daily. I use Oil of Olay Total Effects cleanser and follow up with letting my face air dry and then apply Total Effects daily moisturizer. I do the same in the evening before bed. I have fairly sensitive skin and worry using different products that could break my face out. I like products that are light, absorb quickly and leave my skin feeling fresh and glowing. I sometimes use Olay eye cream. I hardly ever wear makeup-so skincare is fairly simple for me.

I once read that French women spend a lot of time, money, and energy on skincare but don't tend towards plastic surgery. This is pretty much my guiding principle -- take great care of my skin today so I don't need a face lift later in life. I spend about 40 minutes a day on my skin. I wash my face every AM with a mild cleanser (Cetaphil), followed by a retinol cream (Green Cream) everywhere but around my eyes, which are sensitive. I use an eye cream (Clinique) and foundation with SPF (L'Oreal) every day. At night I wash my face, apply retinol cream, and use a night serum (Estee Lauder) around my nose and eyes. I'm pretty happy with my routine--my hyperpigmentation has diminished and my skin generally behaves. Using at least one product with an SPF all over is important to me. I do wish I could use fewer products -- I like the benefits of sunblock, anti-agers and moisturizers, but I worry that layering interferes with the products' efficacy.

At night, I wash my face with a cleaner for normal-to-dry skin, then use a toner, and, if I'm not too tired, a night time moisturizer and/or serum. I also apply lip balm. In the morning, I just splash my face in the shower - I don't wash it again. I use a toner, moisturizer/sunscreen and lip balm. I'm always looking for new products to try, because my skin is ok, but not great. My cheeks are dry, and I have some fine lines, but by mid-day, my forehead and nose are shiny and oily feeling. I can't seem to find something that can handle both correctly.

I'm 36 and I also have a horrible habit of going to bed w/o removing my makeup! I have combo skin and live at a high elevation which only amplifies my skins problems. I was daily with my clarisonic face washer, this has changed my skin soooo much. It takes away the need to exfoliate at often and my pores have shrunk dramatically. I really need to find the perfect cleanser and lightweight lotion though. I am currently using Arbonne, which is pretty good but way too many step. I love organic products. I would really like to find a product that helps with that annoying dry skin on the tip of my nose and the oil around it!
