This is a wonderful, tangy salad that pleases all of your taste buds! It is also a great salad to have when you have a cold, feeling congested, or just not feeling your best. My Mom has been making this since I can remember at about 6 years old. I just love it & hope you will too!
Red Wine Vinegar
Green Onions w/tops Thinly Sliced
Ground Black Pepper
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Remove from skillet, crumble and set aside.
2. To the hot bacon drippings, add the vinegar, lemon juice, sugar and pepper. Stir over medium heat until hot.
3. In a large bowl, combine the lettuce and green onions. Add the warm dressing and toss to evenly coat. Sprinkle with bacon and serve.
