I was super excited to try this foundation, as I normally don't opt for powder foundations. I do have combination skin, so I sometimes struggle with an oily t-zone. The first time I tried it, I used the Nyx Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil and used this powder to set it. Afterwards I used Mac Fix+ to melt everything together and create less of a powdery finish. I used my Real Techniques sponge to lightly tap the Fix+ into my skin. Big mistake. I think it was a combination of the products I used, but it immediately separated everywhere. It looked so horrible I had to completely remove my makeup and ended up not wearing any to work that day because I didn't have enough time to reapply. The next day I tried a different method. All I did was apply the powder with an all over powder brush, added some blush and bronzer, and then sprayed with the UD All-Nighter Spray. This time it looked great and I actually got compliments from several people throughout the day (which never happens), on my makeup. I like that the powder is so finely milled and it has more coverage than you would think. It did slightly cling to a dry spot between my eyebrows, but it wasn't super noticeable. The color was a surprisingly good match for my hard-to-match skin. A tad too yellow, but most foundations are like that on me. Also, the packaging is beautiful, as per usual. UD always has nice packaging. Now...If you are going to use this, I highly recommend derma-planing, too remove the peach fuzz from your face...it will make it look less powdery. Also, use a hydrating or glowy-y primer to encourage the powder to sort of melt in with your skin. Overall, I am loving this foundation and will continue to keep it in my arsenal. Also, it comes with a sponge applicator, but I opted for a brush because I feel like those sponges waste a lot of product.
