When Chelsea Thomspon is not sitting in front of the computer or working her day job, you can find her working on various home renovation projects with her husband or playing with her sweet two-year-old son, "E." Married Filing Jointly is a lifestyle blog that chronicles the everyday adventures of a wife/mommy/friend and the lessons learned along the way.

I live in… The peach state - you can find me south of Atlanta.

My niche is… Writing about our non perfect but blessed life and how to save money and time on the things that don’t matter so you can focus your resources on what truly matters.

I write when… I can find the time between the business of life.

How has blogging changed my life... I have created so many friendships and a network of community through blog land.

A brand I have loved working with is… Carter’s and OkaB.

I started blogging in… 2011 in order to be able to attend a press event - free spa day? Yes, please.

The blogging landscape changed… it has become more crowded and less people have a true niche

How I see the future of blogging/social media... Truly hard to say but I think more and more people will enter this playing field.

Where I work... I work for Chick-fil-A’s corporate headquarters.

I am connected… At work, with college friends, and at church.

When I’m stressed, I… Eat chocolate, drink wine, and watch TV.

My favorite gadget is… My TILE

My favorite travel destination is... Well...my happy place is Lake Burton in the North GA Mountains but my favorite vacation would be St. Lucia.

My favorite clothing brand is… Whatever looks good on me at that moment...ha no favorite brand.

I do all my shopping… Mainly online and at Marshall’s.

My favorite TV shows... Parenthood

My favorite movie... Oh man. Hard. I’m not actually sure.

Coffee or tea... Tea.

I love… My family, the lake, travel and adventures.

I dream about… Building our own home.

What else I do... Between be a mom, friend, wife, employee, and church member that is about all I have time for.
