Ashley Fultz is the former Fashion and Lifestyle Producer at E! News who is now a full-time blogger at TheStyleEditrix.com. She writes about personal style, beauty trends, baby must-haves, and travel on her blog through posts and original video content.  She is also a TV Style Expert sharing her fashion and beauty tips and tricks on camera. The Kentucky native resides in Los Angeles with her husband and their newborn son, Smith.

Ashley recently participated in our #CoolerInCotton Campaign, and we wanted to get to know her better. Here is what we found out, in her own words.

I write when… I have a spare moment between juggling the baby, TV jobs and being a daughter, wife and sister!

How has blogging changed my life... Blogging has really given me the creative outlet I always wanted and needed.  It is a challenge that I accept every morning and something I always strive to do better at.

A brand I have loved working with is…  Old Navy.  I feel like they are so accessible and with the right eye and a bit of patience, you can find items that you can keep in your wardrobe for years to come and on a very small budget.

I started blogging in… 2013

The blogging landscape changed… The year I started blogging.  I feel like 2013 was the year of the blogger going mainstream.  I was a Fashion Producer at E! News before I left to start my blog and events, etc had changed dramatically that year.  Brands were no longer just catering to the editors and producers, but they really wanted to target bloggers.

How I see the future of blogging/social media...  I see it growing and evolving.  It is such a new and necessary platform and there will always be a need for personal style inspiration and lifestyle hacks recommendations.

Where I work... At my dining room table, the couch, and unfortunately sometimes in my bed.  I literally never sit at my desk, which is so bad of me!

I am connected… To social media all of the time.  I really need to set more boundaries when it comes to that!

When I’m stressed, I… I have a lot on my plate and not enough time to get it all done.  This happens a lot now that I have a baby lol!

My favorite gadget is… My iphone. 

My favorite travel destination is… Italy.  Everywhere in Italy.

My favorite clothing brand is… Vince

I do all my shopping… Online now.  I hate trying stuff on in stores and making it to the stores with a baby isn’t doable these days.

My favorite TV shows... Homeland and every city of Real Housewives lol.

My favorite movie... Sleepless in Seattle

Coffee or tea... Skinny vanilla latte.

I love… My life.

I dream about… Sushi and pasta!

What else I do... I am a style expert on TV and I also create original video content for my site and Youtube.  My background is journalism and after working at E! News for 7 years I love producing and creating video and being on camera.

I’ve worked with and made a difference via blogging about... Real mom issues, post-partum and more!  I love sharing genuine concerns and stories and relating with other moms.
