I have to say I wondered about the scent when I saw it as I am not a fan of berry scented items. I found the scent to be pleasantly mild. I don't use conditioner every time I shampoo because I do not like how most conditioners make my hair feel to the touch. I also do not like the dirty appearance it has the next day. I found neither to be a problem with this product. My hair felt clean and was easy to manage. Another thing you should know about this product is that the company has a special code on each bottle.
