Easy recipe that can be customized with your choice of meats and can be made mild or for those that dare can be made extra spicy.
Small shrimp, peeled
Large bell pepper
Cooked white rice
Salt, pepper, garlic powder and hot sauce
Place shrimp in small boiler with package of crab boil and boil for approximately 5 minutes. Allow to sit while preparing other items. Cook bacon until crisp, saving drippings in pan. Saute onion and bell peppers in bacon grease until tender. Drain shrimp and mix into prepared rice. Crumble bacon and add to rice along with cooked onion, bell pepper and bacon drippings. Mix well and add tomato sauce. Allow to simmer for 15 to 20 minutes while seasoning to taste.
