How to Join Our Influencer Society

  1. Become a SheSpeaks Member In order to participate in the Influencer Society, you must be a member of SheSpeaks. So, if you are not a member, please join!
  2. Complete the Influencer Society Application Once you are a member, complete this influencer society survey to apply. We will verify your information to make sure you have an active blog and are not a computer!
  3. Complete your new influencer profile You'll receive an email from our team confirming your profile in our system has been updated to "influencer" and now you can:
    • Join a training session to learn how to use our publishing platform
    • Create your influencer profile with a 50x50 px image and 60 character byline
    • Join programs, discussion and our active Influencer Society Facebook group
    Then get writing and posting, we can't wait to read what's on your mind!

To guide you, and to keep SheSpeaks a positive place for all those who contribute content, SheSpeaks offers the following Influencer Code of Conduct:

Influencer Code Of Conduct

  1. Strive to be authentic and honest in all of your communications so our community knows that you say what you mean, and mean what you say.
  2. Disclose who you are, complete your profile fully so people know your site and how to follow you.
  3. Be responsible for what you write. Remember that just because you "can" say something doesn't mean that you should. When you make an assertion, do so in good faith, state it as fact only if, to the best of your knowledge, it is so.
  4. If material exists online, link to online references and original source materials directly.
  5. Respect copyright, fair use, disclosure laws and other intellectual property rights.
  6. Disagree with others' opinions respectfully.
  7. Respect your audience - Don't use ethnic slurs, personal insults, obscenity, or other objectionable language. Show proper consideration for their privacy and for topics that may be considered objectionable or inflammatory.
  8. Write each entry as if it could not be changed, you can add to, but do not rewrite any entry.
