Sausage Gravy Biscuit Casserole

Makes: 8 1

Description: Who doesn't love gravy biscuits?! They are my absolute favorite!! This dish is the best of both worlds with bite-sized pieces of biscuits covered with your favorite sausage and cheese! Pour some good old fashioned peppered milk gravy on top then sprinkle some more cheese on top mmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm! Simple yet so filling and comforting. You can also use bacon!

Ingredients:
1  can of butter biscuits
1 lb  hot sausage (you can also use mild)
2 cups  shredded cheese
1/2 cup  flour
4 cups  milk
2 T  pepper
1 tsp  salt

Instructions: First pre heat your oven to 375 degrees. Cook sausage until fully cooked and brown. Remove sausage from pan, save the drippings add your flour and whisk until the flour is fully incorporated let cook for about 2 minutes. Turn heat to medium high add your milk Slowly, depending on how you like your gravy will you may need more or less milk, whisking at the same time. Continue to whisk. Add your pepper and salt. Set aside. Get a 9 x 13 glass casserole dish greased. Take your can of biscuits and cut or rip into a half to one inch pieces , sprinkle your sausage over your biscuits then sprinkle half of your shredded cheese, then pour your milk pepper gravy over everything then so the remaining cheese on top.
