Love, love, love this book! Had never heard of it or the author, but was a recommended read when I was buying another book on Amazon, so I grabbed it. I read half of it in one sitting and the rest throughout the day - didn't want to put it down. When a NYC girl going through a divorce goes to lose herself at her aunt's home on a small Washington island, she learns not only things about herself, but about her family and their friends. Her discoveries come in the form of a small red velvet journal that is found in the bedside drawer of the room she's staying in at her aunt's. A little bit romance, a little bit suspense novel, this book is sure to please any reader. Just don't start it when you don't have the time to finish it - it's that good!
