Makes: 15 servings
Description: A nice side dish or dessert that can easily be substituted with low sugar ingredients.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup
butter (melted)
1 1/2 cup
crushed pretzels
1/2 cup
sugar (or Splenda-optional)
1 8oz
cream cheese
1 cup
sugar (or Splenda-optional)
1 large
cool whip (sugar free-optional)
1 6oz
strawberry jello (sugar fee-optional)
1 large package
frozen strawberries (no sugar added-optional)
Instructions:
mix butter, pretzels, and 1/2 cup sugar (or Splenda) together.
press into a 9x13 inch pan to form crust.
bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees, let cool.
beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and cool whip together.
spread over crust and refrigerate.
dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water, add frozen strawberries.
when cool pour over cheese mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve.
