Our Girl Scout Cookie Dreams Come True As New Breakfast Cereal Is Announced

If you’ve ever wished you could just break open a box of cookies for breakfast, this may be your moment to shine. The Girl Scouts have recently announced their new limited edition cereals that will feature favorite flavors like ever-popular Thin Mints and Caramel Crunch (think Samoas...yummmm).

USA Today reports about the new Girl Scouts breakfast cereal that has everyone ready with bowl and spoon in hand. So far, photos of the General Mills produced cereals are circulating online but we won’t get a taste until January when they will become available in stores.

Information about the cereal is scarce, but the boxes do say “Limited Edition” - which may be a good thing for those who fear developing a daily breakfast cookie addiction. General Mills spokesman is giving little away, but did have this to say: “The Girl Scouts Cookie cereals will be available nationwide in January. We will provide additional information when we are closer to the launch.”
