Package of Double Stuffed Oreos
White Chocolate Chips
In large bowl crush the Oreo cookies. Add cream cheese and beat with a mixer on low speed (or mix by hand) until well blended. The mixture should be well combined but have a few cookie chunks in the mix. Form into 1-inch balls and freeze for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, add the white chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute (or until completely melted), pausing to stir every 15 seconds. Remove balls from the freezer and dip them in the white chocolate. Place on a wax paper-covered baking sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm. Enjoy!
We make Oreo truffles similar to these every year, but I feel that this recipe has the right balance between Oreo and cream cheese. I would add some oreo crumble on top, though.
