The Adjustment Bureau
Feel like seeing a little romance, action, and science fiction all mixed together? Then pick up The Adjustment Bureau starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt this weekend. You won’t be disappointed to watch the complicated tale of two lovers unfold as a group of men, hired by a greater force to make sure we all stick with the plan, try and tear them apart. NY Times Manohla Dargis writes of The Adjustment Bureau's director George Nolfi, "Mr. Nolfi keeps the film balanced between sincerity and self-conscious amusement, rarely faltering in tone."

Barney’s Version
The cast alone should get you to run out and rent this one. Paul Giamatti and Dustin Hoffman play father and son in this adaptation of Mordecai Richler’s novel. The story follows the sinful life of Barney Panofsky, played by Giamatti, who is an alcoholic TV producer carrying around the baggage from a slew of failed marriages. A review from NY Daily News describes the film, “By the time Barney gets one final, heartbreaking chance to screw things up, this rich, satisfying film has you hooked."
