For the price, you get a great bergin. They are just like homemade to us all. My kids never knew the difference. I really like fact that they have no perservatives or artifical colors. I am very happy to tell you that my daughters love to fix these for everyone. Easy and quick, also great value!

I love Kroger's Truly Awesone Chocolate Chip cookies!! I am a BzzAgent and received a free box to try and mmm mmm mmm are they Truly Awesome. I now know where the name comes from. You would never know by looking at the box how good these cookies are. They are a bit more expensive than some of the other brands, but they are for sure worth it!!! Great Chocolate Chip Cookies!! Love them!!

I got 2 packages of these cookies to review for a Bzz campaign recently. I have to say that no one I gave any to understand what all the fuss is about. They are crumbly, super dry and not very good tasting. We all thought the were like a slightly larger Chips-a-hoy cookie. They in no way shape of form taste anything like a home made cookie. As for the no preservatives or artificial colors, they have margarine which is just hydrolyzed fat with artificial colors. I really have to wonder how any one can call these cookies better than home made. They are barely ok for a store bought cookie. The price for these cookies is grossly bloated for what you are getting both in terms of quantity and in quality.

Here'e the problem in my opinion with The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie...its name. Homestyle cookie to me implies soft, chewy, just out of the oven cookies. However these cookies are very crunchy and hard. Once you get past this "miscommunication" the cookies taste good, it's just not what you expect when you first bite into it. We even tried warming them up in the microwave, but it still wasn't soft and chewy. On the box they suggest using them to make an ice cream sandwich. I can't imagine...they would crumble in your hands after the first bite. I think maybe they call them homestyle because the ingredients are close to what you would use if you were making them at home: brown sugar, eggs, chocolate chips, no high-fructose corn syrup, and no added preservatives or artificial flavors. That's great, and if you're looking for a crunchy chocolate chip cookie, these have a great flavor. Here'e the problem in my opinion with The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie...its name. I am typically not fond of pre-packaged cookies as they taste mass produced. However, as part of a BZZ Agent campaign I received two free boxes of Krogers Truly Awesome Chocolate chip cookies and I am now a convert. Although, the packaging of the cookies does not make the cookies look appealing you shouldn?t let the packaging fool you. These chocolate chip cookies are TRULY AMAZING, just like the name says. The chocolate chips cookies truly taste homemade and are far better than any other pre-packaged cookie on the market that sell for quite a bit more. These cookies are only $2.79 a box and are worth every penny. They taste like the homemade cookies our grandmas used to bake from scratch for us. They are filled with chocolate chips and are cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch. They taste great right out of the box and when warmed in the microwave for a few seconds have that right out of the oven taste we loved as children. Unlike other store bought cookies, these cookies are free of added preservatives and artificial colors. The name, "The truly Awesome Homestyle chocolate chip cookie" is 100% accurate. They are delicious and truly taste homemade. These cookies are even better than what we find at our local bakeries. If you don't want to spend the time, or have the time, to make cookies from scratch you need to buy these as a treat for your family. They will never know the difference. They truly taste homemade, are affordable and have no added preservatives or artificial flavors. So treat yourself and your family to the Krogers truly Awesome homestyle chocolate chip cookie - you won't be disappointed.
