Jodi Picoult has a knack for pulling at a person's heartstrings with stories that immerse you right into the middle of the story. She picks topics that are controversial and really make you think, what would I do in this situation? I love how she writes multiple characters points of view allowing you into each persons head. In Handle With Care, she tells the story of a family's dealings with their daughter's brittle bone disease and the effects it has on everyone. It rips through relationships, much like the disease itself rips through a young girls bones. It is a story of love and just how far one would go for those they love. At times you will find yourself siding with and against the characters in this book, you laugh with them, cry with them and share their frustrations. Fantastic book!

Jodi Picoult has done it again. She seems to have the ability to capture her reader and take them for an emotionally intriguing ride. "Handle With Care" tells the story of a little girl who suffers with osteogenesis imperfecta, otherwise known as "brittle-bone disease." Miss Picoult educates us, enlightens us, breaks our hearts, and makes us question our own beliefs. This novel is a real page turner and once you pick it up, you simply will not want to put it back down.
