I LOVE JOANNA NEWSOM! her voice is so different and fresh. she's definitely one of a kind

There are three discs that make up this album. That's how long every song is. And you know what? I don't even care--Joanna's music is so beautiful that you wrap yourself tightly around her voice, never wanting it to end. A lot of people disagree with me--they think Joanna Newsom's voice is obnoxious, irritating. I think you just have to have an ear for it. At first I was a little concerned, but the more I started listening to her, the more I realized how unique her voice was. She's improved a lot since her first album, and it clearly shows with songs like "Baby Birch" and "Soft as Chalk." Rock that harp, Joanna!
