Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk

Definition:  It simply means do not worry and stress over the little things. Enjoy life to it's fullest and savor each and every day with an optimistic attitude and a smile on your face!

Each day the question remains from the previous day, why do I bother getting up when the glass is always half empty? Good morning not all, today is the day to do it and why? It is because February 11th was Don't Cry over Spilled Milk Day.

To start your day, take a long deep breath and hold it for ten seconds. As you feel the breath flowing through you, let go of the negative energy as you exhale. The lyrics from Creed’s song Eyes Wide Open  offer a thought of how to embrace the day.

“With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
Now everything has changed
I'll show you love
I'll show you everything”

If life was to be like a written play with knowing what to expect, how are we to grow with the experience? Our mistakes lead to our greatest accomplishments and give us strength to see the glass half full.  What is horrible one day, can unexpectedly lead to an even greater gift within us.

Seize the day and leave the Bounty on the counter.  The spilled milk will be there tomorrow and the day after rhetorically. It is up to you to leave it or clean it; to regress rather than move forward.
