A Wonderful Show, the Good Kind of Drama! This show is awesome. Every aspect that went into it - character development, dialogue, setting - was well thought out and made a meaningful connection to the viewers. Every single character has something distinguishable about them, and nearly ALL of the characters are ones you fall in Love with and root for throughout the show. Each season is very short, but the episodes are long in time to make up for it so there's plenty of plot. They don't feel long or drawn out, though, and they alway sleave you wanting to move forward and find out what happens next. The series ended in a good place, bittersweet - There wasn't really any better way to end it than the way they did, but it was also sad to see the Abbey and the family go.

I really love this show. I love county shots, also the period clothing. I can hardly wait for the next epasode

I need this on Netflix, ASAP. LOVE THIS SHOW! I haven't caught up on all the seasons and I'm having major withdrawals.

Downton Abbey is a prime example of beautiful british television. Characters and story are compelling and interesting, and the cinematography is gorgeous. The beautiful shots of the country side or the mansions or the period clothing. I love curling up with a hot cup of tea (watching everyone drink it all the time makes me want it too) and watching this show. Maggie Smith is hands down my favorite character and is a sassy delight.
