Imagine going on a gameshow and disappointing your entire family by giving an embarrassing wrong answer only to be rewarded with $10,000. This is precisely what happened to Family Feud Canada contestant Eve Dubois when she impulsively answered a question and a video of her celebrating a little too early to realize she lost went viral.

CNN reports about the Family Feud gaff that led to the Popeyes franchise offering Dubois $10,000 worth of chicken. Dubois found herslef yelling out the word “chicken” very enthusiastically after being asked about Popeye’s favorite food. Rather than thinking of the salty sailor from beloved kids’ cartoons like most people might, apparently the restaurant known for its fried chicken was the first thing that popped into mind for Dubois.

Host Gerry Dee began the question saying, “Real simple. There's one question. Only one answer. Whoever gets it, you're playing for $10,000. That's it. Whoever guesses this wins the game. Name Popeye's favorite food.” Rather than the canned leafy green spinach, Dubois yelled out “Chicccckkkkkennnnnn!!!” very confidently and proceeded to do a little victory dance before realizing her embarrassing fail. She then returned to her family team with all looking on in disappointment.

Dubois and family may have lost at Family Feud, but once her video went viral, Popeye’s chicken decided to send a message to Eve. The fast food restaurant tweeted out a picture of a check for $10,000 worth of Popeyes. So, Eve and family have something to dance about after all.
