Warm, creamy bacon onion egg filling in a flaky pastry crust. Ready in 30 minutes!
shredded Monterey jack cheese
salted butter, softened
cream cheese, softened
Prepare bacon until crispy. Reserve bacon drippings in skillet. Saute onion until tender. In mixing bowl, combine flour, butter, and cream cheese with a fork until mixture forms soft dough. Add more flour if necessary. Press dough into 10 inch pie pan, working up the sides. In mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, cheese, cream, spices, and onion. Pour into prepared crust. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
