A wonderful light variable on cranberry sides. Perfect for the holidays.
fresh or frozen cranberries
finely chopped peeled tart apples
chopped nuts (your favorite)
Whipping cream, whipped
Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Let chill, then beat till frothy. Place cranberries in a food processor or blender; cover and process until finely chopped. Transfer to a bowl; add the marshmallows and sugar. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Just before serving, stir in apples, grapes, nuts and salt. Fold whipped cream with the Jello, and gently mix in.
