Wonderful, simple comfort food type recipes made with everyday ingredients. The make-in-the-pan piecrust is a winner that I go to frequently. I use it for the strawberry pie and my husband and I love it. Her stories are honest and heart warming.

This is a wonderful Southern Food cookbook. Christy makes you feel as if you are a friend from the first page. She tells stories of her family and the history of the recipes. I've tried many different recipes from this Cookbook, everything is simply written and easy to follow. She also has a blog where she shows pictures step by step for any beginners.
