Chris Brown's Latest Tattoo: Is It Really Rihanna?

As if the names Rihanna and Chris Brown were not seen together in the press enough lately, Brown gives the public more reason to grow suspicious over his relationship with the singer. MTV News reports about one of his latest tattoos that some say looks a lot like the woman he famously dated and later assaulted leading to a highly publicized arrest.

Not only do people say the woman, now inked on his neck forever, looks an awful lot like Rihanna they are also saying that the markings on the woman depicted in the tattoo look as though she has been abused. The suspicious tattoo appears just a week after the pair were seen exchanging a hug during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards.

Rihanna has been under a lot of scrutiny over the past couple of years as she and the public define her now seemingly friendly relationship with the ex-boyfriend who once abused her. Rihanna opened up to Oprah last month about her current relationship with Brown saying, “He's in a relationship of his own. I'm single, but we have maintained a very close friendship. We've just worked on it little-by-little. And it's not easy.”

Regarding the tattoo, Brown’s rep issued a statement denying allegations that the image was meant to be Rihanna. The statement reads, “His tattoo is a sugar skull [associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead] and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.”
