Description: This delicious dip is always a hit when I take it to Girlz WeekEnd in the Pocono Mountains in PA. It's a little spicy but you can tone it down by changing the sausage to Sweet instead of Hot. So so Easy; even the most novice cooks can make this but experienced ones will enjoy the compliments !!!
Ingredients:
8 oz
Cream Cheese
16 oz
Hot Italian Sausage
14 oz
can of Rotel tomatoes with mild green chiles
Instructions:
If you get the 'rope sausage', remove sausage from casing. Cook sausage over medium heat until thoroughly cooked. Break up any large chunks with spatula into pieces as small as possible while cooking. When it is brown, if there is a lot of liquid, drain, if not, you can just leave it in the pan. Add cream cheese that has been cut up into smaller pieces, and an undrained can of Rotel tomatoes.
Serve with Fritos Corn Scoops for maximum enjoyment :)
