The ipod nano is a good ipod it's easier to carry around in the gym than the ipod touch. However I do prefer the ipod touch because it provides more entertainment just be careful not to drop it!
I love my Ipod nano. It holds a lot of music and you can even download audiobooks. It also can be used as a pedometer during walking exercise and you can also take small video clips. I have had no problems downloading or playing the nano
