Can you believe it's July already?! Soon it’ll be back to school, back to cooler weather… but let’s not talk about that yet.
There is still time! Summer is in full force and here are five tips so that you make the best of what's left of it!
Nothing says summer like watermelon, so why not incorporate more watermelon into your summer!
Treat yourself to this light and fresh Watermelon St-Germain Slush, it includes:
2 cups frozen watermelon
2 mint leaves
squeeze of lime
1/4 cup cranberry juice
1 ounce Gin
1 ounce St-Germain
Looking for something non-alcoholic? Try this cute & easy Watermelon Sundae Recipe.
Summer is a great time to travel even if you can’t go far! Sometimes the best places are right under your nose. Take a trip around your hometown pretending to be a tourist. Book a tour, take a class, book a date night and take advantage of the season!
Enjoy the beautiful weather and relax by digging into a great book. Looking for a summer read? You can download one of summer's most anticipated books, Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker, for free, before it hits the shelves.
One night three years ago, the Tanner sisters disappeared: fifteen-year-old Cass and seventeen-year-old Emma. Three years later, Cass returns, without her sister Emma. Her story is one of kidnapping and betrayal, of a mysterious island where the two were held. But to forensic psychiatrist Dr. Abby Winter, something doesn't add up. Looking deep within this dysfunctional family Dr. Winter uncovers a life where boundaries were violated and a narcissistic parent held sway. And where one sister's return might just be the beginning of the crime.
Emma In The Night is a unique, touching and thought-provoking story that will keep you on your toes; you’ll never expect the ending! Get your free download here!
(BookShout.com and the BookShout app are compatible with your smartphone, tablet, desktop computer, and the Kindle Fire HD.)
Summer is all about being outdoors, so put on your favorite swimwear, find a pool, lake or beach near you, and jump in!
Summer nights can be equally as lovely as summer days. Find a nice spot (if you’re in a city you might want to find a location that offers a darker sky), lay out, and gaze away. If you’re interested in all the star names and constellations you can download an app like SkyView or Sky Guide that will tell you exactly what you’re viewing.

Summer is so almost over :( I spent some time reading the book that you guys gave me for free and we are spending time with my parents doing some projects like laying tile.
I'll be kayaking and jet skiing and going on a Caribbean cruise.
Getting the kids ready for the new school year, working in my garden, blogging!
We've only got about 2 weeks left! We are taking the boys to the lake with friends again this weekend and we're all taking my mom to my (late) father's hometown so she can attend his high school reunion and see all of his friends and family!
Lake, pool, popsicles, ice cream! Anything to keep cool
Road trip to P.A and enjoying summer.
Relax by the beach with a good book, maybe with my new friend Alexa and a Fire HD 8 tablet. :)
Hoping to hit the beach anywhere!
I plan on spending the rest of the summer looking for a new place to live!
