As a gift from a company, which would you prefer?

Companies offer a lot of incentives to get us to pay attention to their products and buy their brands.  If you had a choice, would you prefer a $10 gift card or coupons for free products?

And, as always, let us know why!

4-5 coupons for free products from brand name manufacturers (52.4%)

$10 gift card to spend anywhere (47.6%)

I think I would like a gift card, because then I would be able to buy the product I wanted. Sometimes when you get coupons the store may not have that particular product, then the coupon expires.

If the coupons are for 4 or 5 different items it might be okay. I usually get several free items of the same thing. The $10 gift card would probably be more useful to me.

Free products are nice but I know I can use $10. I get a lot of free product coupons and I can't ever locate the product before the expiration.

Much prefer the ten dollars to spend anywhere I want then I can have what I want, this is more fun than coupons which you have to spend money on the product then they either deduct the price or reduce the cost and perhaps would not like the products that they issue the coupons for anyway.
