As a gift from a company, which would you prefer?

Companies offer a lot of incentives to get us to pay attention to their products and buy their brands.  If you had a choice, would you prefer a $10 gift card or coupons for free products?

And, as always, let us know why!

4-5 coupons for free products from brand name manufacturers (52.4%)

$10 gift card to spend anywhere (47.6%)

The coupons would likely get me to try something new that I otherwise wouldn't have tried and it would be a nice treat.

I love getting "free" stuff. No matter if I can use it or pass it on to someone who can! It's like getting little gifts now and then for just being a special person (well in my own mind anyway!) Ehnjoy your day everyone!

I would rather receive the $10 because right now, money is a huge issue in our household.

I'm always thinking of "gas money" so unless it's a coupon for free gas, $10 bucks to help fill up my tank!

there's no guarantee i'd spend $ 10 on the particular product, free coupons will not only enable me to use the product, but ensure i get hooked on it too!

I like trying new products so the free coupons work best for me.

I would prefer to get the $10 gift card. If I can spend it anywhere, then I can use coupons in addition to the card money and get an extra bang for my buck. Also, I will know that I am getting items that I truly use, or need.

I know I would use the $10, not sure I could use all the coupons.

It was actually a hard decission for me, both offers sounded really good. I picked the gift card just in case they could be products I may not use.
