Many elementary schools have cancelled Halloween parties because it is a distraction and/or unfair to those who don't celebrate. Should elementary schools celebrate Halloween?

What do you remember about celebrating Halloween in school?

Yes - It is a fun way to let kids be kids (76.2%)

Maybe - it's ok as long as they are under control (21.5%)

No - School is a place for learning, not Halloween (2.4%)

    yes, i think so but most schools just call it a fall party and no dressing up at school

    Life is short so must they try to take the fun out of everything just because a few do not want to participate. If they don't celebrate, they don't have to but why try to dictate that on everyone else just because they want to change everything.
