I have also sprinkled some baking soda in my bath water. It makes my skin feel soft.

I mix baking soda and peroxide to make a paste and brush it on my teeth. This is something that my grandmother taught me and I have been doing this since a little girl. It really whitens your teeth and leaves it feeling very clean.

My girls play hockey and their gear stinks! I use baking soda in conjunction with white vinegar, and it completely gets rid of the smell!! I use the same process for old towels that start to smell. Wash first in hot water with a cup of vinegar, and then wash the load a second time with 1/2 to 1 cup of baking soda. DO NOT add detergent to either load, and do not dry in between the two loads. This has saved our garage from reaking of sweat!

To unclog the sink...pour baking soda & vinegar followed by boiling water & repeat until drain is clear, takes a bit more effort & time but its all natural
