When I was growing up, there were a number of drive-in theatres in my area. Mom would pack food and drinks and off we'd go. My younger brother usually fell asleep during the first show. Even though we brought food, my dad would still take us to the concession stand for a hot dog or pop corn. It was so excited when daylight would start to fade, and we knew the first movie would be starting soon. Such wonderful childhood memories.

Believe it or not, there is still a drive in here in Rhode Island

Spent many a weekend at the Drive-Ins during my younger days and feel sorry for those who haven't or won't get that experience. I remember those good old days when the speaker wouldn't work or kept falling out of the window and pictures that were not the best. Still, wouldn't have missed that for the world.

Used to go all the time when I was a kid. I miss them they were so much fun.
